1. What types of information does EFM collect?

When you visit our website and/or register for an event or conference on an affiliated website, you may be providing us with two types of information: the personal information you willingly agree to disclose that is collected on an individual basis, and the website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website.

When you visit our website (www.efmevents.com) or an affiliated website, or register for an event or conference, you may be asked to provide us with information about yourself, your firm or company, and your practices. You may also be invited to provide additional comments on how you see EFM servicing your needs and interests.

If you choose to correspond with us through email, EFM may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and your responses.

b. Website use information

Similar to other commercial websites, EFM’s website may utilize a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What are “cookies”?) and web server logs to collect information about how our website is being used. EFM uses personal information for the purpose of administering and expanding our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. 3. What are “cookies”?
