The Memphis Strategy Series Announces Two World-Class Keynotes for Their Invitation-Only Executive E

The Society for Information Management (SIM) Memphis Chapter announces the 32nd Annual Strategy Series will return to the Hilton Memphis on September 26, 2018. This is a one-day networking and educat5ion conference designed for Senior Information Technology leaders. There will be over 200 CIOs, VPs, and Directors present at this year’s Strategy Series.

The Strategy Series is the Memphis region’s premier event for IT leaders to network, collaborate, and educate. As technology continues to play an ever-increasing role in the success or failure of every company, face-to-face events have become more important than ever. This event will allow the region’s executives the opportunity to discuss common professional issues, technology challenges, and how emerging technologies have the potential to impact their organization.

Scott Augenbaum, Retired Supervisory Special Agent, FBI, will kick off the day as our opening keynote. Mr. Augenbaum will share why a transnational criminal enterprise and foreign intelligence services may want to target your organization’s data or intellectual property. This eye-opening presentation will discuss ways to ensure you are prepared. Scott has responded to hundreds of data breaches within Tennessee and is here to show commonalities across almost all incidents, while also providing you with several takeaways to prevent your organization from becoming the next victim.

Mark Nutsch, Green Beret Commander Portrayed in the Move “12 Strong” & New York Times Best-Seller, “Horse Soldiers” will be one of two impactful keynotes. While Commander Nutsch’s accomplishments are many, his goal is to show the region’s executives how they too can make an impact on their organization. Mark will share his perspective on preparing teams for ever-evolving circumstances by utilizing resourcefulness, inventiveness, and commitment; he’ll highlight how, adaptability, team diversity, and a capacity to persevere can enable your teams to successfully accomplish their missions.

In addition to our keynotes, there will be 12 breakout sessions and panels throughout the day focused on Security, Big Data, GDPR, hiring and retaining top talent, machine learning, data analytics, blockchain technology, and the latest in emerging technology products.

Attending the 2018 Memphis Strategy Series is an opportunity for leaders engaged in technology to network and explore new ways to maintain a competitive advantage in a global economy. The knowledge transfer at this event is sure to create a competitive edge for your organization.
