SIM Colorado Will Be Hosting The 10th Annual Colorado IT Symposium on April 25th in Denver

The Society of Information Management (SIM Colorado) is pleased to announce that the 10th Annual Colorado IT Symposium is returning to Denver, Colorado at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center on April 25th. This is a one-day, executive-level event designed for CIOs and their direct management teams. There will be over 250 CIOs, VP’s, Directors and Managers present at this year’s event.

The Symposium is the annual major gathering of leaders, professionals, and academics working in the IT field. As technology continues to redefine the boundaries of industries and replace market’s traditional geographic regions with border-less digital environments, it has become essential for local organizations to be aware of the global trends in their sectors and implement strategies to integrate them into their operations in order to be able to stay agile and maintain their competitive edge. This year’s symposium will look at emerging IT trends and provide insights into innovative leadership skills in today’s fast-paced digital age. This interactive event will also provide attendees with opportunities to collaborate and share their knowledge and experiences through a series of panels, breakout sessions, and social media.

The keynote sessions this year include thought-provoking talks from industry leaders Peter Lynch (Founder and CEO of Hitch Studio) and Change Management Pro Robert Tipton, and the day will conclude with an inspirational talk on resilient leadership and engaged teamwork by climber and expedition leader Jim Davidson, who was at Camp 1 on Mount Everest when earthquakes tragically struck Nepal.

16 breakout sessions will also be interwoven into the agenda, including (but not limited to) talks on security, digital leadership, growing the local talent pool, AI/machine learning, and stress management techniques.

Attending the 2018 Colorado IT Symposium is an opportunity for leaders engaged in technology to network and explore new ways to maintain competitive advantages in a global economy. The ability to collaborate and exchange actionable information with peers is what makes this event rewarding and productive.
