Executive Functions Management Hosts San Antonio's IT Executives On October 19 for a day of Educ

The 8th Annual San Antonio IT Symposium is returning to San Antonio at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Thursday, October 19, 2017. This is a one-day, executive-level event designed for Chief Information Officers and their management teams. There will be over 200 CIOs and members of their executive management teams present at this year’s event.

The event will be highlighted by three keynote speakers. Change Management Pro Robert Tipton will open the event by discussing the difference between “What’s Right” and “Who’s Right”. This talk will help you rethink and reimagine your leadership style.

Cyber Defense Dojo’s Founder and President Omar Quimbaya will share information on how a mission-focused security community can be a powerful force for the benefit of San Antonio. Inspired by the startup and entrepreneur community at Geekdom, the CyberDEF Dojo's mission is to inculcate security and risk management into the culture of the greater San Antonio community through education and development programs.

The day will end with a special presentation by VJ Smith, author of “The Richest Man in Town”. VJ shares a remarkable and unforgettable story, leaving audience members to evaluate how they can improve their personal and working relationships, setting higher standards on taking care of customers and giving deeper thought on what is truly important in life.
