Idaho IT Executives Gather in Boise on November 7 for Education, Collaboration and Networking

The 8th Annual Idaho IT Symposium is returning to the Student Union Building on the campus of Boise State University on Thursday, November 7, 2017. This is a one-day, executive-level event designed for Chief Information Officers and their management teams. There will be over 100 CIOs and members of their executive management teams present at this year’s event.

The event will be highlighted by three keynote speakers. Employee Engagement guru Dr. Daren Martin, PhD. will open the event by discussing the lack of employee engagement facing business owners and leaders today. Daren delivers proven insights and solutions he uses to create ownership cultures in some of the biggest companies in the world.

Dr. Jeremy Graves , PhD. will share information on "Understanding The Dynamics of the Multi-Generational Workforce Within Your Organization". Jeremy will explore how generations view the workplace, the values that each generation brings to the workplace and how to bridge the gap when working multi-generationally. With the hopes of giving you some tips and tools for engaging the multi-generational workforce.

The day will end with a special presentation by VJ Smith, author of “The Richest Man in Town”. VJ shares a remarkable and unforgettable story, leaving audience members to evaluate how they can improve their personal and working relationships, setting higher standards on taking care of customers and giving deeper thought on what is truly important in life.
