Mr. Wheeler is a Senior Vice President at First State Bank & Trust and maintains over 40 years of diverse business knowledge in the financial services industry with emphasis on strategic planning, organization design, change management, team building and day-to-day operations. As a senior manager he has significant experience handling profit and loss responsibilities, achieving customer service goals and directing operational responsibilities for a $4 billion institution with 62 locations.

Prior to his tenure with State Bank & Trust, he served as Senior Vice President at Firstar Bank, Mercantile Bank and MidAmerica Bank.  While in these positions he led groups as large as 100+ people in both mature and changing environments.

Harry is a member of, and currently holds a board position with, the Kansas Bankers Association.  He earned his BSBA in Finance from Rockhurst University and is also completed studies in the Graduate School of Banking - University of Wisconsin and the National Graduate Compliance School - American Bankers Association.
