Ben Weinberger is the CIO for Lathrop & Gage, a 300 lawyer, full service law firm with eleven offices across the United States and 630 end users. Ben is responsible for strategic, technical, and operational management for the firm's Information Technology, Records, and Information Resources Departments. In addition to holding a similar role at another large law firm, Ben formerly served as the Director of IT for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Additionally, he previously worked with several multinational organizations, including The Walt Disney Company, ChevronTexaco, and numerous other law firms. He was a Legal Technology Consultant for Baker Robbins & Co. of Chicago, Illinois, and managed IT operations for firms in the United States and the United Kingdom. He is actively involved in ILTA (the International Legal Technology Association) where he serves on the Infrastructure Technologies Peer Group Steering. Mr. Weinberger is a regular speaker on such topics as Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning and Wide Area Network Optimization Strategies. He has presented at Storage Networking World, Gartner Data Center Conference, and at the annual ILTA conference, among others. Ben received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin.
