Mugunth Vaithylingham is currently the Chief Information Officer at the College of Southern Nevada. As the third largest two-year college of its kind in the United States and Nevada’s largest institution of higher learning, CSN educates a professional and technology savvy work force that has been the backbone of the state’s dynamic growth and prosperity since 1971.

Prior to becoming CIO, Mugunth was Chief Technology Officer for CSN’s Office of Technology Services for 3 months.

Mugunth’s office manages over 48 full-time employees, 56 student employees and 75 computer lab assistants. His office supports Academic Technology, Enterprise Applications , User Services and Infrastructure Services.

Mugunth is a visionary and goal-oriented IT Senior Executive with demonstrated experience in planning, developing, and implementing cutting-edge information solutions to address business opportunities. He has initiated and enforced change management procedures to address company need and promotion growth. Mugunth is well experienced in joint application development, benchmarking, capacity planning, project and resource management, and cross-functional team training.
