Kirk has been with The Hillman Group, Inc. located in Cincinnati, Ohio since 1999. Prior to joining Hillman Kirk worked for The Cincinnati Enquirer. Kirk has 15 years of experience in I.T. and holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Cincinnati and is completing his MBA with a focus on technology from Walden University.  Kirk manages a group of software engineers at Hillman and is responsible for all Business Intelligence/Portal solutions as well as the production ERP systems, advanced planning and scheduling systems, and inventory systems spanning 3 systems that support ten warehouses in the U.S. Canada, and Mexico. Our software portfolio consists of WebFOCUS, ESRI, WebSphere Portal and collaborative tools, Enterprise One, AS/400 (legacy systems), PKMS, Database Services (SQL,Oracle,DB2)  and other misc. systems.

Kirk has been responsible for leading multiple projects at the Hillman Group. Recent projects include evaluating acquisitions, process improvement related to Hillman's ability to quickly adapt to price increases (on the vendor and supplier side), ERP integration (migrating from JDE World to Enterprise One), Supply Chain Optimization, Sales Force Optimization and other projects. We have been successful on deploying WebFOCUS Ad-Hoc reporting throughout the environment which allows I.T. to focus on business process improvement vs. writing reports for the business.
