Iridium Communications Inc. delivers reliable, near real-time, mission-critical communications services by way of their 66 low-earth orbiting satellite constellation.  Tad Martin has been working for Iridium in multiple capacities since 2001, and has over 15 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.  During the last 8-9 years, he has implemented several leading-edge technologies, including De-Duplication and SAN Virtualization.  These technologies have allowed Iridium greater flexibility in several areas of IT, not the least of which is streamlining of backup operations and disaster recovery.
