Forrester Research
Craig is a principal analyst in Forrester's IT Management & Services
research group and covers human capital management (HCM), organizational design
and development, and IT as a business. Specific topics of focus include enterprise
incentive management, enterprise performance management, talent management,
and organizational assessment and design. His work in IT as a business focuses
on quantitative and qualitative methods for valuing IT, including the balanced
scorecard and other metrics methodologies.
Craig came to Forrester through its acquisition of Giga Information Group. He
was an original member of Giga's startup team and a co-developer of Giga's research
process and research products.
Craig has more than 27 years of experience in the IT industry. Before joining
Giga, he spent 11 years at Gartner Group in analyst, management, and executive
roles. In his last position at Gartner, he was senior vice president and CIO
and was responsible for developing Gartner's electronic delivery strategy and
products. At Digital Equipment, Craig managed a consulting business unit dedicated
to the financial services industry, and at Citibank, he managed an applications
development group in the finance division. Craig started his career as a developer
of real-time communications software.
During his career, Craig has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences
and consulted to virtually all constituencies in the IT industry, including
users, vendors, and the investment community.
Craig earned a B.S. from Rider University, Lawrenceville, N.J., with majors
in management and organizational behavior and decision science, and attended
the Stern Graduate School of Business at New York University.
