Peter Stockhausen is an experienced CIO, having served in that role for over 12 years with three companies in diverse industries. CIO Magazine ranked him as one of the top 100 CIOs in 2003 and in 2004, and featured his organization in a cover story. For a number of years, his organizations have been recognized by inclusion in the Information Week 500. He was elected to the Board of Directors of a metro daily newspaper and of a technology standards consortium.

Peter has 30 years experience in a variety of technology and management roles, including chairing a multi-company software-development joint venture, building an IT organization from scratch, and assimilating the IT functions and systems of a number of acquisitions. He project managed the merger of two metropolitan newspapers and launched the electronic publications line of business for that company. His clients have included not only corporate staffs, but also franchise owners and real paying customers. In 2005, Peter left the CIO ranks and founded Silver Bullet Consultants, LLC, which provides total business solutions and technology and management advice.

Peter earned a Bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a Master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. He also completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program for Ameritech, and the Duke University Executive Management Program in Telecommunications. Among his professional activities, Peter is a former President of the Wisconsin chapter of the Society for Information Management, and a former Chair of a Marquette University School of Business Advisory Board. He has delivered numerous industry presentations in North America and around the world, and participated on CIO panels in various public forums.
