Joel Sorenson

Mr. Sorensen serves as Associate VP of Technology at HNTB Corp and has 20 years experience in the Information Technology field. His educational background includes an Associates degree in data processing, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baker University, and an MBA from Rockhurst University.

In his 15 years at HNTB, Mr. Sorensen has had responsibility for HNTB’s overall technology investment, procurement, and business management. Currently, Mr. Sorensen is functioning as Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. These duties include firm-wide strategic spend management and implementation of specific sourcing and procurement programs.

Prior to HNTB, Mr. Sorensen assumed various Information Technology roles in the food processing, not-for-profit, insurance, and banking industries.
