After receiving her B.A. in Biochemistry from Ottawa University in Kansas, Ms. Slater Anderson worked for several years in the clinical/research laboratory of Kansas University Medical Center. In 1980 she completed work on a Masters of Public Health with a major in Hospital Administration from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center. She subsequently served as an administrator of hospitals in Pawhuska and Ponca City.
In 1991 Ms. Slater Anderson graduated from the University of Tulsa with the duel degree of Jurist Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration. She accepted employment at St. John Health System of Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1991 and directed the development of the physician practice management program. Today she serves as Corporate Legal Counsel for St. John Medical center and affiliate organizations.
Ms. Slater Anderson speaks on a regular basis concerning legal topics in the health care industry.
