Dan Shaw, in his current role as Manager - Support for IT Services and Applications for BlueScope Buildings North America located in Kansas City Missouri, leads the IT service delivery teams for BlueScope Buildings North America with 20 years of IT experience.  On April 27, 2004 Butler was acquired by BlueScope Steel Limited of Melbourne Australia.  With the acquisition of Butler, BlueScope Steel is now the leader in pre-engineered buildings in North America and China and is number one in premium steel building products in China. 

Shaw has 13 years of experience at BlueScope Buildings NA as the Systems and Network Services Manager.  He has applied his technical talents in management and operations roles in NA Enterprise Data Center, Infrastructure and Telecommunications space for the North America businesses.   During this time, he was successful in implementing practices and procedures with in the Data Center space to reduce complexities and cost.  Shaw implemented a Disaster Recovery stratagey with support from BBNA management that meets the business continuity requirements.  He has been successful working with vendors to provide value and cost reduction for IT.
