Georgia L. Shaffalo is the Interim VP of Information Technology for Klipsch Group, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of high-performance speakers and other entertainment products for homes, professional cinemas and commercial venues.
Georgia is responsible for setting the corporate technology strategy and standards, and management of information technology worldwide. In addition to her IT responsibilities,
Georgia is the VP of Global Program Management for Klipsch. With more than 20 years of management experience in both large corporations and entrepreneurial growth companies she has extensive management experience in Acquisition Integration; eBusiness Strategy Development and Deployment; Information Technology and Administrative management with emphasis in large strategic project management.
Career Highlights:
· VP of Global eBusiness for Brightpoint, Inc. a global distributor of wireless devices and provider of logistics services in the wireless telecommunications industry. Responsible for creating a global eBusiness strategy from a business perspective and worked with IT to develop the technology solutions to support this strategy.
· Director of Business Services – BEST Access Technologies an Indianapolis-based manufacturer of mechanical and electronic lock and security systems. In this role she was responsible for managing HR, IT, Corporate Security and Facilities, and Program Management Office. During her tenure with BEST, she was part of the executive management team who prepared and managed the company through the sale of the business.
· Sr. Manager of Business Consolidations at WESCO Distribution, Inc. a $4 billion wholesale electrical supply distribution company with over 300
North America locations. Responsible for managing all phases of acquisitions from due diligence, through post-closing business integration projects.
