As Director of Technology Services for Gander Mountain Company, Robin Smith is responsible for the infrastructure backbone of Gander Mountains’ bricks and mortar retail operations.  Robin joined Gander Mountain in 2005 as manager of the process and resource group where her duties included the financial aspects of IS, compliance initiatives for SOX and PCI and standardizing operational processes.  In 2007 her duties were expanded to include network and telephony and earlier this year the corporate server, storage and backup environments were added to her responsibilities.  Robin also drove the creation of, and continues to facilitate, Gander Mountain’s Information Security Steering Committee.   

Prior to Gander Mountain, Robin held various positions with Carlson Companies’ Shared Services Division beginning in technology accounting and moving into project management, business support and development of a broad range of managed hosting offerings.   

Robin received her BS in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and holds a MBA from the Carlson School of Management with dual concentrations in Information Systems and Finance.
