Cynthia Rolfe

Dr. Cynthia E. Rolfe joined the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997 and became the Assistant to the President and Vice President for Information Technology and CIO. She provides the university’s technology strategic
direction which encompasses all aspects of technology. She held a similar
position at the University of Nebraska and was a tenured professor at a private college on the East coast.
Previously Dr. Rolfe worked with corporate clients and government agencies to provide technology strategy and operational direction. She owned a small consulting company which focused on management efficiencies as well as technology initiatives. She developed processes for companies such as Anderson Consulting in Philadelphia and Chicago, Tyco Toys, and The Green Tree Group. Her work with a Philadelphia-based MicroAge Computers, Inc.
franchise moved the organization from strictly a retail operation to a service group, significantly increasing revenue in the first year.
Dr. Rolfe graduated from Oklahoma State University with degrees in business administration that focused on business education, training and development, and management of information systems. She also holds a degree in metaphysics, and is an advocate for healthy living through a seven-layer model she developed, known as Seven Wheels™
