Mr. Robinson has been the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for the Lockton Companies since 1997. In this senior leadership role, he had defined and executed the strategies and for the electronic foundation on which Lockton Companies has aggressively built and expanded as the largest privately held broker in the United States.
Mr. Robinson has over twenty years experience in Information Technology including the past eighteen years managing corporate technology and telecommunication organizations. He has had an active role in the explosive growth and use of technology in many diverse industries including, manufacturing, government, and financial services.
Prior to joining Lockton Companies, Mr. Robinson was an Assistant Vice President for Employers Reinsurance Corporation, a General Electric company, were he managed and oversaw the company’s domestic and global networking environments. Before this, he worked 14 years in a variety of Information Technology management and staff positions for Honeywell Aerospace, formerly AlliedSignal and the Bendix Corporation, as part of a prime contract under the Department of Energy.
Mr. Robinson has participated and attained certification in the Quality programs both with General Electric and the former AlliedSignal. He achieved a Master Black Belt designation in the G.E. Capital Six Sigma program in 1997. In these process-focused roles he helped organizations achieve improvements which focused to identify, measure, and improve core business processes while assuring a strong customer focus and profitable business solutions.
Mr. Robinson is the co-founder and leader of the Kansas City CIO Exchange. Begun in 2001, this group is comprised of senior Information Technology executives from many of Kansas City’s largest companies. The group meets regularly throughout the year and focuses on allowing networking with peers as well as foster discussion of current issues and concerns.
Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Rockhurst College.
