Rob Grant is the Director of Global Information Technology for Newmont Mining Inc. He joined Newmont in 2009 and has over 23 years of proven leadership success that began in technology sales and has progressed to leading a Multi-national IT Service Organization supporting the largest Fortune 500 gold producer in the world. This experience has enabled him to analyze and evaluate business situations, and to develop and implement effective solutions. In his current role, Rob is responsible for the strategic roadmap of IT Infrastructure and Architecture for Newmont and prides himself on developing a strong team of IT professionals who deliver world class service and solutions to their global colleagues.

Prior to Newmont, Grant has held Executive IT positions at Denver based cornerstones JD Edwards Software and Policy Studies Inc and IHS.

He received his degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and has 2 years of Graduate studies at the University of Maryland in College Park. Rob is also the President of the Board of Directors for the Karl Mecklenburg REACH Foundation, which focuses on providing educational opportunities for at risk youth in the Denver area.
