As executive vice president and CIO, Rapken leads the YRC Worldwide Technologies, Inc. subsidiary of YRC Worldwide and is focused on building upon the company's capabilities to support future growth. He is responsible for the strategic technology roadmap as well as for implementing systems and infrastructure solutions which enhance our customer's experiences and drive productivity and synergy initiatives. Prior to joining the company, Rapken was vice president, applications development for Sprint Corporation. While at Sprint, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in network systems development, systems architecture and strategic development. Before joining Sprint, Rapken was with General Electric Consulting, AGS Consulting Services and Dresser, Inc. Rapken holds a BS in computer science from Illinois State University.
