Doug Rammel

Doug Rammel joined the Sports Licensed Division (SLD) of The adidas Group (formerly OnField Apparel / Group Athletica, LLC, and previously LogoAthletic / Logo7) as the VP, Information Systems, Technology, and Strategic Planning on July 30th, 2000. Doug recently added Integration Operations responsibilities to his position in May, 2006. SLD is the fully-owned subsidiary of The adidas Group, that is the exclusive licensee, designer and manufacturer of on field, on court, on ice and on pitch apparel and accessories for both players and fans of the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and the teams of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and NAIA.
Prior to joining Reebok, Rammel worked in healthcare and served as CEO for Associated University Neurosurgeons, SC in Peoria, Illinois, while founding and organizing the Illinois Neuroscience Institute in Peoria and the Quad City Neurological Institute in Moline, Illinois and Davenport, Iowa. Before moving to Peoria, Rammel worked in Cleveland, Ohio for The Cleveland Clinic.
Rammel graduated from the University of Toledo in 1990 with a degree in philosophy with minors in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and from the University of Michigan in 1993 with a Masters degree in Health Services Management and Policy, a combined MBA and Masters in Public Health. Rammel currently teaches the iCore Systems & Operations (P301) course at the Kelley School of Business on the IUPUI campus.
Rammel has served on the National Editorial Advisory Board for the Consumer Goods Technology Review magazine since 2003, and is an active Board Member for the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center, here in Indy, and for the National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho Foundation, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also active in the Rotary Club of Indianapolis, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Broad Ripple, the Indiana Blood Center, and has been a Big Brother volunteer mentor for 12 years.
In the Spring of 2005, Doug was extremely proud to be chosen as one of four worldwide Company Envoys for Aloysious Toe, a global recipient of the Reebok Human Rights Award from the Reebok International Foundation for Human Rights.
Rammel and his wife, Chantel, live in Broad Ripple with their daughters Alexis Jayne (4), and Eliza Marie (1).
