Andy Proctor has worked for Citizens Gas in Indianapolis since 1999. He is the Vice President of Customer and Information Services for Citizens Gas. As CIO, Andy is responsible for all strategies and activities associated with information technology and computing services for Citizens. He is also responsible for the customer service activities at Citizens Gas, which include the customer call center, billing and credit services, and community outreach.

Andy has over 27 years of experience in information services, in both technical and business management roles. In 1978, Andy began his professional career in his hometown of Bay City, Michigan as a computer application programmer for General Motors. He has worked for Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan, Compuware Corporation in Detroit, Michigan, and Michigan Consolidated Gas Company in Detroit. From 1991 to 1999 he worked for Affiliated Computer Services, where he ran business operations in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Dearborn Michigan, and Indianapolis.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Saginaw Valley State University, and an MBA from Butler University of Indianapolis. He is an active member of the Society for Information Management. He has been an Indianapolis-Training Inc. board member since 2003, and he is currently the board co-chairman. He is also a board member of the Warm Heart Warm Home foundation. He lives in Zionsville, Indiana with his wife Andrea and son Lance.
