In March 1999 Steve Printz was named Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Pella Corporation. As VP & CIO, Steve has focused on the upgrade of Pella’s infrastructure, disaster recovery/business continuity, the creation of a Corporate Data Warehouse, implementation of systems for Pella’s distribution network and replacement of Pella’s legacy systems with Oracle 11i.

Prior to Pella, Steve served in the United States Navy for 22 years where he attained the rank of Captain with responsibilities for logistics and information systems. After retiring from the Navy, Steve worked for ALLTEL Corporation, a telecommunication company, as a strategic planner for IT Systems before joining Moen Incorporated near Cleveland. While at Moen, Steve held a number of positions in Information Systems and Business Planning and ultimately was appointed as VP for Logistics with responsibilities for distribution, transportation, inventory planning, customer/consumer services and forecasting.

Steve is a graduate of Frostburg State University with a BS in Secondary Education and received his MBA in financial management from George Washington University.
