KI
Vicki Petit is the Vice President of Information Services at KI. In this role, Vicki is responsible for all Information Technology initiatives throughout KI and its subsidiaries.
Vicki is an Information Systems professional with 19 years of IT experience and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Vicki joined KI in January of 1994 as a Manager of Applications Development, and was promoted to Vice President in January of 1999.
She has accomplished many successes at KI, including:
- Implemented a telephony system that is saving the company $6.9 million over 5 years.
- Implemented Road Technology for a savings of $600,000 over 5 years.
- Outsourcing of operations for a savings of $1.4 million over 5 years.
- Implemented a Prioritization Quadrant to prioritize projects along with the business strategy.
- Initiated the Strategic Protection Committee to bring together physical security, information security, business continuity and privacy.
- Re-structured the IS department to align it with the Corporate strategy and to get IS more involved with the Business Decisions.
- Initiated new technology research teams to promote understanding and capabilities of new technologies.
Vicki is a Gartner EXP member, a member of Milwaukee’s IT Leadership Forum, as well as a member of the CIO Executive Council, affiliated with CIO Magazine.
In her spare time, Vicki also serves on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She holds the position of Secretary on the Executive Committee, chairs the local chapter’s Outreach Committee, facilitates the local support group and is a member of an on-line diabetes support team.
Vicki has an active son, Alain, who is 14 years old.
