Steve is the Chief Information Officer for HoganTaylor LLP in Tulsa, OK. HoganTaylor LLP has 4 offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Fayetteville, Arkansas. The $25MM firm provides professional tax, accounting and assurance services to clients across the country and around the globe.
He is responsible for effectively directing the implementation and use of technology across all of HoganTaylor’s business units. Providing the firm’s users with the highest quality personalized support is a top priority for the IT department under Steve’s direction.
After a 13 year stint as a consultant with MainSpring Integration in Tulsa, Steve jumped at the chance to go back ‘inside’ and served as IT Manager for Tullius Taylor Sartain and Sartain from 2006 to 2008. A merger with the firm of Hogan & Slovacek in January of 2009 brought more opportunity and Steve was named Chief Information Officer of the newly formed company, HoganTaylor LLP. The transition from a one-man IT shop serving 49 users to managing a staff of 3 and serving 190 users across 3 cities has proved to be an exciting challenge for Steve.
Steve is a Tulsa native and met his future wife, a Stillwater native, while attending Oklahoma State. They married in 1991 and he finished his degree in Finance at Northeastern State University’s Tulsa campus. They live in Broken Arrow, OK and have 3 boys. Steve’s interests outside of work include fishing, hunting, traveling and quality time with the family. Steve is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa and is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 39.
