Geoff Obeney

Geoff Obeney became Terra’s Vice President, Information Technology, in February 2007. His charge has been to bring Terra’s technology into the 21st Century, and to ensure that Terra has the people, hardware, software and processes it needs to compete effectively.

Geoff has wide-ranging, international managerial experience in the IT field. From 1979 to 1990, he worked as a Systems Operator, Analyst Programmer, Project Manager and Managing Consultant for three different employers in the UK. He gained much of his IT leadership experience with Gateway, where he was employed from 1990 to 2003. He held positions that included IT Director; Head of IT for the Dublin, Ireland business unit; Director, Global Networks & Communications; Director, Manufacturing Systems; and Vice President, IT Infrastructure. Since leaving Gateway, Geoff has held executive positions with W.W. Grainger and SEI LLC.

Geoff is also a board member of Wireless Ronin (RNIN) a digital signage company.

Geoff and his wife Gail have three children and live in Elk Point, South Dakota.
