Volkmar Nitz brought a wealth of experience when joining O.C. Tanner in 2006 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, from his previous years at GlaxoSmithKline, KPMG and Nu Skin. Now, Volkmar focuses on creating value and competitive differentiation through information services. As a vital member of O.C. Tanner’s leadership team he is actively involved in driving the company’s strategic vision and plan. He contributes to virtually every project here at O.C. Tanner – from motivating and coordinating international teams in the development of O.C. Tanner’s new and revolutionary technology platforms to designing and implementing our state-of-the-art data center. His contributions at O.C. Tanner have streamlined processes, generated innovation, and improved employee satisfaction in his own IS department, as well as the organization as a whole. Volkmar is an astute businessman with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oglethorpe University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
