Perry Mulcrone is Deputy Chief Information Officer for Scott County. Mulcrone manages IT programs for Scott County including their ITIL implementation, SOA initiative, Disaster Recovery program as well as their computer information security program. Additionally, Mulcrone oversees the Applications, Infrastructure and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) teams. Together, the Scott County Information Technology Department supports over 70 business lines ranging from 911 Operations to Mental Health Services.
Mulcrone has over 12 year experience in IT with a strong background in web services, infrastructure systems and architecture as well as applications development and mapping services. Prior to joining Scott County in 2003, Mr. Mulcrone was part of the Systems Team at ROI Systems, Inc. which is now Epicor.
Additionally, Mulcrone is a Reserve Major and has served 14 years in the United States Marine Corps where he served as an F/A-18 Pilot, Public Affairs Officer and Military Police Commander.
Mr. Mulcrone received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications from Iowa State University.
