Mark Schmitt is currently the Senior Director of Supply Chain & Administrative Systems. In this role, Mark supports Anheuser-Busch Inc. and Anheuser-Busch Companies business strategies with new systems and systems support that lower cost, increase revenue or increase productivity. This includes budget management and direct supervision of 450 salaried, hourly, and contract staff that support the beer division, Anheuser-Busch Packaging Group, and corporate business systems. The A-BI divisions include Brewing, Distribution, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and International. The A-BC divisions include Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and the Anheuser-Busch Packaging Group.

Mark’s IT experience is supplemented by his interest in the beer business. For 2 years Mark familiarized himself with plant operations by working as a weekend relief supervisor in the St. Louis Brewery. Prior to working at Anheuser-Busch, Mark worked with United Parcel Service of America, Inc. in such capacities as Strategic Planning, Information Systems and Production Supervision.

Mark has an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford, NJ, and a B.S. from DeVry University, Lombard, IL.
