Matt Peterson

Matt Peterson is currently Vice President and Chief Information Officer at JohnsonDiversey, a $3 billion global specialty chemicals manufacturer with headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin. In this role, Matt oversees a staff and budget in 65 countries. Prior to being appointed VP & CIO, Matt held various senior I.T. and Customer Service management positions within JohnsonDiversey. Significant accomplishments have included playing a lead role in developing pre- and post merger integration plans pursuant to the joining of Johnson Wax and DiverseyLever in 2002 and the integration of eight customer contact centers into one Canadian center. He also has been instrumental in developing and overseeing a significant outsourcing/offshoring I.T. delivery and support model.
Prior to his time with JohnsonDiversey, Matt spent nine years in the management consulting arena with Ernst & Young and Diamond Technology Partners (now Diamond Management and Technology Consultants), assisting clients in various products sectors with business process reengineering and technology selection and integration initiatives. Prior to this, Matt started his career spending three years in the commercial software business with Unisys and Dun & Bradstreet Software.
Matt has an MBA from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Western Kentucky University. In addition to his I.T. background, Matt has been certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
