Since January 2003, I have held the position of Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) for the Executive Branch of State Government as well as Director of the State’s Division of Information Systems and Communications (DISC).

I have worked for the State of Kansas for over 18 years. Prior to becoming the CITO and the DISC Director, I was the Director of Information Technology Services for the Kansas Insurance Department for seven years and the Information Center Manager for the Kansas Department of Education for seven years. Other professional experience includes computer systems analysis, design and programming in the private sector.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Business Administration from Washburn University.
