Michael Morris is a Criminalist with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.  He formerly served as the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Commander and Special Agent in Charge of the DCI's Cybercrime unit.  His career with the Department of Public Safety now spans over 32 years in various capacities including investigations of mass casualties, public corruption, questioned deaths and homicide.  He has also provided instruction to Iowa law enforcement officers and recruits at the Iowa Department of Public Safety Academy.  As the Task Force Commander Morris served on the National Working Group for Internet Crimes Against Children that meets quarterly and formulates the Strategic Plan and Investigative Guidelines for ICAC.  He is currently employed as a Criminalist conducting forensic exams on digital media submitted by Police agencies across the state.
