Kate has more than two decades of experience being an integral part of Senior Management with emphasis in creating and delivering Information Technology solutions. As the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for The Schwan Food Company, Kate has oversight for the Global Information Services Division and is focused on the seamless integration and delivery of technology solutions which enable the business objectives.

Prior to joining Schwans, Kate directed the business and technology strategy at CitiMortgage, a subsidiary of CitiGroup Inc. She focused on the B2B secondary mortgage market business process automation and economic modeling, enabling the business to optimize work flow and anticipate future demand.

Prior to joining CitiGroup, Kate was the Vice President and CIO for a mid-cap insurance company where she managed the information technology division and orchestrated an invigorating refresh of their dated technology environment. Solutions ranged from cost reductions, site closures, security and infrastructure strengthening and several critical business applications.

Kate also worked for Xerox Corporation as Senior Staff to the Chief Technology Officer ( CTO) where her accomplishments included, global data center management, outsourcing management, and global technology integration and enablement.

Kate has her Bachelors in Finance degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and Masters in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
