Curtis is currently serving as CIO for a $300MM Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, Kansas. As a visionary IT Senior Executive, he has experience in planning, developing, and implementing cutting edge information solutions to address the complexity of healthcare delivery in this high rapidly changing industry and deliver business opportunities that set his organization’s vision for success. As a CIO, he has experience in the design and delivery of cost effective, high-performance technology infrastructures and applications to address complex business problems. Curtis has extensive qualifications in all facets of project life cycle, from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, user training. He has strong process background with a proven ability to build and manage creative, highly energized focused teams.

Mr. Matthes formerly served as a Principal with Tatum Partners, providing strategic planning, interim leadership and project management to Private, Public and Government organizations from $10 Million to $2 Billion. Previously, as CIO for a full service hospital management company, he combined his strategic guidance and operational execution to guide his organization through a four fold growth, deploying and managing over seven (7) regional facilities across the mid-west.

His breadth and depth of experience is drawn upon as a Judge in Oklahoma’s annual Reynolds Foundation Governor's Cup business competition and to speak to organizations such as the Oklahoma Governor’s State CIO task force on the challenges and strategies of Technology Leadership in the Public sector.

Previously, Mr. Matthes served as a Senior Strategy consultant for Sun Microsystems, providing guidance to clients throughout many industries on developing strategies for breakaway business advantages. Mr. Matthes continues to provide community service through ten years of leadership with Boy Scouts of America. He holds a MBA with Honors from the University of Central Oklahoma with a concentration in marketing strategy and an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
