In her role as Network Manager at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Lisa directs teams that provide both network and end user services. Specifically, the Network Group is responsible for telecommunications (WAN, LAN), remote access, security, Windows servers, storage, backup, core user productivity applications, workstation architecture / deployment, and end user support / training at the Company’s four sites. During her tenure at Upsher-Smith, Lisa has had a unique opportunity to design and manage the organization’s network infrastructure from its infancy through the second generation.
In 1919, Upsher-Smith began processing digitalis drug products to treat patients suffering from congestive heart failure. Upsher-Smith Laboratories still produces cardiology products and has expanded to the areas of dermatology and women’s health as well. Today, Upsher-Smith is focusing on neurology products that treat epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. As our company evolves, our goal remains the same: to assist individuals in making the best use of medicines. This not only means producing quality pharmaceutical products, but providing access to them as well. Upsher-Smith’s vision is to become a leader in providing therapies that empower people suffering from central nervous system (CNS) diseases to lead healthy, productive lives.
