Leon Thomas is the Vice President of Technology for Professional Veterinary Products, Ltd., a leading distributor of animal health products headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska with distribution facilities in York, PA and Hereford, TX.  Thomas is responsible for developing PVP’s overall technology strategy and his team is charged with implementing technologies to maintain or improve PVP’s eight percentage point operating efficiency advantage over their competitors.

Thomas has over 15 years of experience leading major IT initiatives and has served in numerous advisory and consulting roles during his career. In 2002, he was named to Omaha’s 40 under 40 list, honoring 40 successful professionals under 40 years old in the Omaha area.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a doctorate from Creighton University.
