As Director of IT over data center operations at Myriad Genetics Inc., Steve Loder is responsible for ensuring the success of the business critical systems in functions ranging from email to genetic sequencing.  He oversees the Systems and Network Administration teams in architecting and supporting solutions that fit closely to the needs of the business, are highly available, scalable, and cost efficient.  Cost efficiency initiatives have allowed the business to continue high levels of growth while keeping costs under control.

Steve comes from a systems administration background with strong experience in enterprise technologies and solutions particularly in the areas of OS, SAN, and backup.  Over the course of 14 years in the IT field, including long stints with Flowserve Corp and EDS, he has had increasing opportunities in leadership positions to focus efforts in managing vendor relationships, negotiations, driving cost savings, and strategically aligning IT infrastructure to meet business needs.

Steve graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's in Management - Information Systems.  Steve and his wife Bethany have 5 children.
