Brent Littleton is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Security Benefit.  Brent is responsible for all aspects of Technology Solutions and is specifically focused on spearheading technology advances in the organization.  In his fifteen years with Security Benefit he has been a consistent leader in the IT department.  From 2000 to 2002 he led the initiative to totally revamp the IT Framework for the company, replacing the old mainframe legacy systems with a new “state of the art” distributed systems environment.   As a result of this effort, Security Benefit was able to completely retire the mainframe environment in less than three years. Brent was also a member of an executive leadership team which identified and utilized the advanced technology platform to provide new revenue opportunities for Security Benefit.

Prior to his employment with Security Benefit, Brent spent fourteen years with Mutual of Omaha.  While there, Brent led development efforts on the company’s first major Data Warehouse project as well as the company’s first Work Management (Workflow) system. 

Brent has over 29 years of IT experience and has served in an IT Management capacity for over 24 years.  He serves on the Client Advisory Board for Pyxis Mobile Inc., Forrester Research CIO Advisory Board and Information Systems Advisory Council for Emporia State University.
