As chief information officer for Walker Information, Brian is responsible for formulating and driving the overall information technology vision. He oversees all technical aspects including new technology development, data management, network operations, and information security with a clear emphasis on solving strategic, management, and business operational challenges.
Brian has been a key leader in developing and implementing Walker’s pioneering customer loyalty management program and the technology tool to support this program – the Walker SmartLoyalty ® System. This complete, online solution for collecting and using customer feedback helps Walker’s clients better understand how customers feel about their company. Brian continues to lead the research, design, and implementation of state-of-the-art applications and database technologies with a clear focus on bringing continuous value to our stakeholders.
Brian joined Walker Information in 1991 as a database analyst and has since, risen through the ranks holding a variety of technology-related positions. He has gained extensive experience in the areas of business leadership and management, technology consulting, infrastructure and data management, and business development.
Brian has been interviewed and featured by a wide range of news media and industry analysts, including Gartner Research, Forrester Research, Yankee Group, Nucleus Research, IDC,
Information Week, CIO Magazine, IQ Magazine, Tech Target, and 1to1 Magazine. Recently, Brian has participated in panel discussions on timely information technology issues at Cisco's North American SMB Sales Meeting and Oracle's North American Sales Meeting. He is also a board member for Indianapolis Connect2 that focuses on connecting people who need human services and those who provide them.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Montclair State University.
