Bill brings over 25 years of software development and database management experience to Abacus. He is a seasoned veteran with a proven track record covering a broad range of responsibilities and disciplines in management, sales and professional services. Bill is the technical manager responsible for all of the software engineering activities that keep the Abacus engine running.
Since joining Abacus Bill has been responsible for managing software development teams in two business units. He started in Strategic Database Services as a director responsible for all dbEdge (tailored database) implementation projects. Bill moved to the Abacus group about a year and a half ago to assume his current role.
Prior to joining Abacus Bill gained experience in direct marketing by managing development teams that built operational systems for clients including QVC, Sears, Carlson Companies, J.C. Penney, and Bergdorf Goodman. In addition to working with direct marketing companies, Bill has also managed software development projects specializing in telecommunications, wholesale distribution, and financial data warehouse projects for manufacturing, distribution and banking. Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
