Kevin Dohrmann, CTO & vice president, is responsible for cofounding and directing CoSentry’s technology strategy, as well as overseeing the corporate engineering, PMO and operational delivery team. Applying his creative approach to technology and problem solving, Dohrmann works directly with clients to craft innovative business drive technology solutions that satisfy their requirements. He brings an excellent mix of business acumen and technology solutions knowledge to every engagement.

Prior to jointly founding CoSentry, Dohrmann was the networking division general manager and the vice president of services integration for Inacom a leading Fortune 500 technology services company. In this capacity, he built a networking business from the ground up – handling everything from business plan development and strategy implementation to operations and management of a $70 Million Dollar Pro-Forma P&L. Before developing the company’s network business, Dohrmann served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) setting the customer facing technology strategy and translating customer requirements into useful strategy. While employed as CTO for National TechTeam, Dohrmann directed multi-national/multi-lingual technical support call centers and managed IT and the systems integration division.

Dohrmann’s 25 years of experience spans nearly every aspect of the technology industry – including technical support, international call center operations management, Internet telephony, and the World Wide Web. Because he initially entered the technology industry as a systems engineer, Dohrmann possesses a thorough understanding of the implementation of technical solutions, as well as data centers. In addition to holding leadership roles at Fortune 500 technology companies, he has also been involved in the creation and management of several start-up organizations. In fact, he founded an Internet Telephony Company in the late 90’s and patented a method for initiating telephone calls from the Web. Dohrmann’s expertise extends far beyond the technical realm to operational functions such as mergers, acquisitions and resource integration.

Dohrmann holds a Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and has attended and spoken at several executive management conferences. He has published numerous articles on technology and networking topics. As a recognized leader in the industry, Dohrmann provides insight about technology trends and their impact on the business world through speaking engagements throughout the US and the Europe.
