Chris Katterjohn is president of IBJ Media Corp., which owns and operates Indianapolis Business Journal, Indiana Lawyer, Court & Commercial Record, and IBJ Custom Publishing. He is publisher of Indianapolis Business Journal.
Katterjohn has been with Indianapolis Business Journal (a weekly business newspaper) since it started in May 1980.
In conjunction with the IBJ, he hosts the INSIDE IBJ radio program on Saturday and Sunday mornings on WZPL-FM, WNTR-FM and WXNT-AM.
Katterjohn currently serves as vice chairman of the board of Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art. He is also a member of the Hall of Fame selection committee for the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis and the community advisory board for the Junior League of Indianapolis. He is a past board member and former president of the Alliance of Area Business Publications, a Los Angeles-based trade group representing 75 local business weeklies and monthlies across the United States.
In his free time, Katterjohn plays music. He is bass player for The Meatball Band and a member of the KRS Trio.
An Indianapolis native, Katterjohn graduated in 1968 from Park School, Indianapolis, and in 1972 from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He has two daughters.
