Dennis John joined Milwaukee County Department of Administration, Information Management Services Division in July, 2007 as the Chief Information Officer.   Milwaukee County is the 44 th most populous county in the nation providing services to over 951,000 citizens through 40 departments and more than 5,600 employees.  As Chief Information Officer, Dennis is responsible for a centralized IT operations made up of over 100 regular and contract staff providing services ranging from Technology Infrastructure through Application Development as well as enterprise project management with a budget of over $17.5 million. Prior to joining Milwaukee County, Dennis has 20 years of leadership and IT experience in both public and private sector including Director Information Systems, City of Racine for the previous 5 years and IT Director, Accountable Health Plans of America for 3 years.  Dennis also held management positions with Schneider National Carriers and Sears Roebuck & Co. He is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, Business Management and a member of the Metropolitan Information Exchange.
