Jack Jansen

Jack has been employed at Foot Locker for twenty two years and has held the position of Computer Operations Manager, Hardware Assets Manager and most recently Information Technology Manager specializing in the mainframe software area. He started his career at Foot Locker in the program development department and transferred in to the computer room. During his years in the computer room he played a key role consolidating three data centers into the Milwaukee location. He headed the project to install the console automation tools in all data centers as well as several other large projects. Before Foot Locker, Jack was employed at Control Data Business Center for over 10 years as a lead computer operator. Jack has been the president of the Computer Operations Management Association (COMA – a local users group), for a three-year term. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He has been published in Information week in 1996 and has been a speaker at the annual AFCOM convention.
