David Hopkins is the Managing Director of Information Technology Services for American Airlines supporting American’s Maintenance and Engineering division.  American Airlines' M&E business is comprised of line maintenance locations around the globe and three major maintenance bases.  David's team has developed and implemented several innovative systems for M&E including a patented application for line maintenance.  The M&E ITS organization is a critical piece of American Airlines' third party MRO business.  David and his team are currently working with internal as well as external IT resources to implement systems in support of that initiative.  David is also a licensed private pilot and a certified electrician.
