Matt Holmes has been with the information service branch at Johnson County Community College since 1997. In 2007, the IS branch at JCCC was recognized as a top “100 best places to work in IT” by Computer World magazine. Matt is responsible for data center operations and system administration at JCCC. Focusing on concepts from ITIL and COBIT, Matt has worked with his group of system administrators and computer operators to develop standards and streamline data center operations.
Prior to joining JCCC, Matt worked as an analyst with Mediware Information Systems, providing support for pharmacy information systems. Matt also has experience implementing and supporting document imaging systems with IKON office solutions.
Matt’s educational background includes two certifications in electronics from North Central Kansas Area Vocational School. Matt is a SUN Certified Trainer with SUN Microsystems. He has studied data processing, programming, information technology, and leadership development at Johnson County Community College.
