Mr. Hellstern has been involved with IT and the computing industry for over 28 years.  His experience has covered various industries including medical, distribution, manufacturing and public government.  His experience ranges from consulting, to system and application development to technical and database management.   

Mr. Hellstern began work with the State of Iowa as a consultant in 1998 and is currently the CIO for Iowa Workforce Development.  He has a Computer Science degree and is also a Certified Public Manager.
