Stephen Held is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for LEO A DALY Company, one of the 10 largest architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design firms in the United States with 22 offices in 16 cities worldwide. The diverse portfolio includes award-winning work in more than 50 countries, all 50 US states and the District of Columbia.
Stephen previously spent 6 years at Creighton University where he held a number of senior positions in their Division of Information Technology. Most recently as Assistant Vice President for Information Technology, Stephen was instrumental in identifying and resolving many of the strategic and technical challenges faced by this prominent Jesuit Midwestern University, including managing and supporting nearly 10,000 users engaged in diverse activities ranging from retail to health care and encompassing around 130 acres including over 40 buildings in more than a dozen locations.
Stephen brings broad IT experience including knowledge of local and wide area network infrastructures, comprehensive server and storage architectures, mobile technologies and setting strategic directions for information technology in diverse environments. He also brings his skills and experience in leading people and managing resources which are critical as technology becomes increasingly embedded into our business models.
