Randy Haufler is a Data Security Coordinator for Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas. Randy has worked in the IT field for over 20 years serving in multiple capacities including computer systems technical instruction, systems administration, data backup administration, network engineering and computer security. As part of Stormont-Vail’s security team he actively monitors, configures and supports all security devices and applications used to provide day to day information systems security for the hospital campus and remote clinics. Randy is a member of the computer security incident response and disaster recovery teams.

Prior to joining Stormont-Vail Randy worked for Harris Corporation’s IT services group at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C. for 13 years in multiple IT roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University and a Master’s degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Randy retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years serving as a Communications-Computer Systems Officer.
